About Bill Scheurer

Randi and Bill are well known in the Illinois 8TH Congressional District and throughout the nation for their steadfast commitments to working families, responsible government, and peace. They have lived in the same home in the District for over 30 years, where they raised their four children together. Empty nesters, they now have a "family" of dogs, fishes, birds, and a cat.

Sharing the load, they have brought their values of family and community to the ballot as candidates in previous elections, including Bill's history-making independent campaign in 2006.

Bill has worked as a lawyer, lay minister, and technology entrepreneur. He started another new business this year, after devoting 8 years as a fulltime volunteer for various nonprofit causes.
